This is not recommended if you have already told people and search engines about your site. This action will leave dead links and no forwarding address. There is also a $ 29.99 fee for internal processing. We suggest that instead of changing your directory name you purchase a Top Level Domain name (eg. .com .net .org .ca .us).This allows your current directory to stay active for the search engines that index your website.
